In my last post I mentioned getting back into my love of dolls. Since then I have been hunting for them everywhere I go....lol I went from the few dolls I had from my childhood to a whole new family of them . I'm not even sure how many I have found this last month. I love rescuing them . I have a My size Barbie who was a mess and now she is so pretty and has a new hairdo.Manyyyyyy Ginny's an American Girl and my last one is one I have been dreaming of finding and there she was at the Salvation Army for 4.99. Can you believe that ? I wish I had taken pictures of them before I gave them a make over . I just get so excited, I have to do their hair first thing. I will post Miss Revlon in her outfit she came in which is in rough shape. Now I have to find some patterns for a new wardrobe .... Im so excited! If you have some favorites, please tell us about them.

I Have Been Published

It's been a long while again but I have exciting news. I have been published in a national painting magazine.

My project is the witches hat with the spider hanging from the tip of the hat.

A Quick note to everyone,
I have decided to create a Mini Gallery at the shop. With the economy what it is and people still wanting to buy Art for their Home and friends,It seems like a good idea. I have been enjoying the process very much and it even inspired me to take a class myself.I have been taking classes in oils again and really enjoy being on the other side of the table for a change. Check in and see the final project....I'm not sure I should be telling you at this point.....lol Who knows what it will look like in the end. I may have to hide it in the closet.

It's been a long time since I last posted. I guess I'm not a winter person and I seem to hibernate in the winter. Although I still paint and make all sorts of paper crafts. I am so sorry that I haven't been here in awhile . I have had some minor health issues (not to worry )I was laid up for awhile and not very comfortable . I have so much to catch up on and many things I want to add to the Blog.

First I want to thank you for your comments. Second, I have to pick the winners of the christmas blog candy .I have been waiting for someone to come in to draw the names. I don't know how many of you feel as I do. It seems there just isn't enough time in a day to do the things I love doing. We had a wedding in our family last Saturday. My son, Matthew, married a lovely girl named Lynda. It was a wonderful wedding and everyone enjoyed it. I'll post some pictures ASAP.... you just have to see the wedding cake. They had a pirate theme and it come off very well. The tables were lovely with treasure chests dripping with "jewels" and coins .
I get to relax this weekend and next weekend we have another wedding. Our daughter is getting married ........oh my ! What were they thinking !!!!!!!! Then maybe I can get back to running my business and making some Halloween things. One of my favorite times to decorate is Halloween. Oh and I have been painting some little tea shirts ....gotta see them , so cute !
